I did a few still lifes as class projects - in fact, “The Watcher” was my first real painting, and I couldn’t resist adding creepy cat eyes to liven it up!  “Birthday Flowers” was done on location in the French Alps. “Linda’s Crazy Vegetables” was done after a friend handed me some deformed-looking vegetables and jokingly “commissioned” me to paint them!  Nowadays, my favorite type of still life setup are the dresses that catch my eye in storefront windows.
