I received my first two commissions right after I sold my first painting, when two other people had wanted the same painting and requested something similar. After that, I attempted a few paintings which almost seemed impossible to do, because the reference photos were so awful. However, it was actually kind of an exciting challenge to take a dark, blurry photo and make a decent painting out of it!  (Sorry, I am no longer taking commissions.)
